It also keeps Vrabel out of Cleveland.. sure if he was cut would love to go to the Browns.. Ohio boys usually do.

I'm not buying PFT's theory. The Browns are on the hook for Anderson's $5 million March 15 roster bonus regardless of whether they cut him or not. He has no trade value until after that date. And once that roster bonus is paid, it's not worth it for the Browns to trade him, because of his relatively low ($1.5 million) 2009 salary.

Even if you discount all that, only one team has filled a QB hole with the Cassel trade. The total market being reduced by one should not affect the price of an available QB that dramatically.
