BB sounds like someone who needs a vacation

Granted I read this and did not hear it but he sounds like someone who needs a vacation.

Think about it since the Start of TC 07 he has had to deal with Spygate, a run at perfection that the Media was all over from what seemed like week 2, to the actual 16-0, a playoff run, 18-0, Spygate again days before the big game, the worst loss in franchise/NFL/All of Sports ever, the hoopla of a top 10 pick, TC with out your star QB, Losing your star QB, training a back QB to be a starter, and now missing the playoffs despite a record that has taken you to 2 SBs (one a win one a loss one his one Parcells), oh yeah and speculation Brady may not be ready for next year.

Dude could use a break.

Not sure they will he does not smile pretty enough often, and not sure he wants to.. sure he has a pretty regimented schedule as he rebuilds this franchise, particularly if Pioli moves on..

Why do you say that? It sounds very reasoned to me. He'd rather be playing ball, but playoffs extend the season and having an extra month off will benefit everyone for next year.

The fact that he pretty much stated it and coupled with what has gone on over the last two seasons I imagine this will be a much needed extra month off. Of course he would rather not have it but it is what is.

I'm encourage to hear him say that it will allow him a more thorough time to adequately reflect on the season. That means one thing to me.

It seems to me we did fairly the following year the last two times we missed the playoffs.

I think the big thing is letting the players added rest recuperation.

The "Superbowl Curse" really has more to do with the extended season than a curse and let's face it, the Pats have played a lot more football this decade than any other team.

I guess even God rested on the seventh day, so BB may take a week off. Something tells me that guy doesn't do down time really well. He's a workaholic.

A vacation?? Bill is pretty regimented season wise..and although the last 5 were extended into January..I think he's more a bit migged about NOT playing than at all happy about a few extra weeks with a vacation. He's all about football..annd he likes the grind..he'll get his vacation time..but I DO think they will be reloaded and ready..And don't firget there will be a lot of nuamces on contracts with a possible uncapped year coming up. And as mentioned, a lot more to do if Pioli leaves..My guess is he stays.
