Denver is reportedly sending Iverson for Billups and McDyess. Detroit has lost their minds. Billups is one clutch player. Surprised to learn that he is only one year younger then Iverson, tho a lot less mileage.

Thats a dumb move because they giving Mcdyess in the process as well.Stupid!!

very dumb trade. Makes no sense for detoit

Well, it does make sense for Detroit. Iverson's contract is up after this year, giving them 20 mil in cap room. It also allows them to play stuckey and Maxiell more, 2 young players they are very high on. So while it sets them up nicely in the future, they are definitely not a top contender anymore.

Don't forget Amir Johnson. They love his raw ability up in Detroit. Interesting deal though. The Pistons, should they let Iverson leave, and Rasheed Wallace's deal to expire, would have over $21 million in cap space, come 2010, when Dwayne Wade, Lebron James, Chris Bosh, etc. are all free agents.

On Sports Center this morning they said that the Nuggets will release McDyess and he will re-sign with the Pistons as a free agent.

I think that this trade will work out in the end for Detroit

Does he want a ring (one with shamrocks)?

McDyess is too slow we don't need him

Not sure, coming off the bench for Detroit, he sure was unstoppable against us for a couple of games. Rumor is he is heading back to Detroit, tho, the Denver GM is saying he's staying.

Nice, better off he stays in the West he meshes well with the Pistons

Aren't there some limitations on that???
They're smiling in Philly today. They got Andre Miller, less headaches and a few draft picks and now he's been traded again.. How many superstars get traded twice????? Short list, I'll bet..

Can McDyss help he Celtics or is he washed up?

He's got pretty good size at 6'9 245 lbs.

Antonio McDyess - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Thats the same size s Leon Powe, except Leon is younger, faster, and already knows the system. Alot of people mentioned that McDyess can be this years P.J. Brown, but PJ was 6'11, and his size and length was what we were looking for. At 6'9, we already have Powe and Davis. I'm not sure how he would fit in...

I can only think of Wilt Chamberlain as being traded twice. From Warriors to 76ers then to the Lakers.
