- it's a road game.
- 9ers are better this year.
- willis will shut down our pathetic running game single handedly, leaving the rest of their D to focus on stopping Cassell -- which they will.
- pats are demoralized after embarressing loss to miami. having a week off only made matters worse as they got to sit around and stew.
question is, will this loss put us in a season long tail spin from which we'll never recover?
I think that this is a pickem game. For the Pats to win, they have to
do the following:
l. The offensive line has to block better for both the run and pass.
If Cassel is on his butt most of the game, the Pats will lose.
2. If the defense does not pressure J.T. O'Sullivan and instead simply
drops back in coverage, the Pats will lose.
All the past statistics that forum members are mentioning that point
towards a Pats win are meaningless. Matt Cassel is now quarterback,
not Tom Brady.
The next 6 games for the Pats are San Diego, Denver, Rams, Colts,
Bills, and Jets. The only sure win is the Rams. The other teams are
better than the Patriots at the quarterback position.
