What's to be done? Do you bench him as a discipline or see if you can trade him for some high-end talent at other positions?

I'm not jumping the gun, and maybe he's still trying and Cassel just ain't hitting him, but... if it does shape up to be him, despite the positive-speak of Bill, will they do something or just play along until Tommy is back?

If Moss becomes a malcontent he will be benched. I can not for the life of my picture him running stuff in NE like he did in MIN.

I would think he would value his relationship with Brady who would help keep him towing the company line with the promise of another big season next year.

JSn if Randy Moss becomes a malcontent I will pay 10 dollars to your favorite charity.

The media is jumping on him because there is a controversy to be had but I don't see it yet. All I see is a star WR with a back up QB being double teamed.

He would be benched but i think this is all on Cassel.I am not his biggest fan.

Sure, sure...

For my perspective on how things really are, the team just fell in a pile of sh...aving cream for a game. Moss has a TD on the boards with Cassel. They can do that lots more. Might require better blocking... ok, WILL, require better blocking.

I'm not jumping the gun,
You're not? You see one play where he didn't reach for the ball, and you can't tell from the angle if he even saw the ball coming or not, and you're suggesting he be benched?

If that isn't jumping the gun, then what is?

Moss may or may not have pulled up, but it's a little premature to go all Felger here. Let's wait until we can say it looks like it might be a problem before looking for solutions.

I didn't suggest he be benched, Starthief, based on one play where he maybe pulled up. I said IF he develops a case of... but maybe the thread subject was too long for you to bother reading the whole thing...

Step off my sack.

moss's history is making him the most scrutinized player. iam sure tons of receivers take plays off when the ball isnt coming their way but moss is supposed to keep running at 100% when we are throwing screen passes.

You are jumping the gun becasue it hasnt happened yet. When will these Moss questions stop being asked?

You can't tell if he even saw the ball coming? I love Moss, but that's weak, space. It was a big 3rd down that could have given us some life, and he pulled up. I'm a fan, too, but I can still be objective.

You guys are always going to watch Moss with a microscope due to his past. Just let it be until something actually happens like he says something or does something more than ONE play.

I wouldnt trade Moss for anything. The guy loss his QB and now everyone is trying to find something wrong with him.

honestly, how many times has moss been looked at by Cassel? I'm not saying Moss is perfect, but this is more on Cassel. Cassel has the best WR in the NFL standing on his line and he looks at moss what, 4-5 times a game? Let's be honest, here 8 out of 10 times you can just throw it in the general area of Moss and it will be caught.

And no, I'm not a NE fan but I watched both NE games.

I'm calling it like I see it regardless of who the player is. I would be saying the same thing if it was Welker. If you want to give him a pass, that's up to you, but don't tell me I have to give him a pass when he pulls something as unprofessional as that.

Welker is welker and Moss is Moss.

Moss was the star in MIN and was a pretty big star in NE last season. Moss is use to always being that star and is use to getting the ball thrown to him. Yeah, it would be unprofessional of him to be a baby about not getting the ball like he use to, but who wouldn't? I know if I have been playing for all these seasons and made a name for myself to the point where I am considered the best WR in the NFL, I would be upset too if I were to be dissolving from this offensive game.

It's simple, Matt Cassel realizes who he has for a WR and gets him involved in the game or you keep losing since NE's running game is in shambles.

People are stepping on your sack because you've developed a case of threadstartingitis. On the heels I might add of a case of hystericallypostingtoomuchitis. After 3 months as a member you at an astonishing 12,000 per season pace hotshot. Posting at that pace usually bodes bad endings here...

We've played three troll... The Moss of the first 10 weeks who you could throw to the general vacinity of in triple coverage here hasn't really been seen by anyone watching our games since December 2007.

That's probably why you aren't a star in the NFL and your posting drivel on some other teams message board because your team is in shambles. You have no idea how we do things here, or how we won 3 Lombardi's. Go home.
