Man, the Skins have dropped about 3 INTs so far tonight, not overly difficult ones either.

Who is the genius who scheduled the mighty Washington Redskins to open up the 2008 NFL Season ? Brutal.................

This is the best hurry up offense since Philly.

Possibly the same genius who spells genius genious.

anyone see that Redskins fantasy draft thing on Barstool sports today? Makes me see Fred Smoot (and Chris Cooley) in a whole new light....

Yup, I hadn't but your post prompted me to take a look. Good stuff all around, even my wife questioned whether Cooley might be mildly ******ed.

What a pisser. The Giants did every thing they could to gag and they get to run the clock. I should have sooo waited till sunday for my opening day experience..

The Washington Coach is a moron.

Jason Campbell is a moron.

they don't deserve their jobs, this is ridiculous.

Shame on the schedule maker, the Redskins of all teams to open up the NFL season nationally, um ok...............

Looks like the Skins could use Matt Cassel, they might get better results :(

I agree with you Keegs what a pathetic performance. At the beginning of the forth quarter the Redskins should have started with the no huddle. Try anything to get into an offensive rhythm, they did nothing.

The Giants got one scramble TD and three field goals. Not exactly magical either, but seriously, that Washington QB... yikes.

You can't blame Campbell. He still learning a new system and following the lead of his coach. Zorn's time managment and not having the team to go into the no huddle with 4 something left on the clock was inexcusable and unbelievable. He basically gave the game away at that point and probably had quite a few of his own players asking what was going on. Not a good way to debut as a head coach and not a good way to start a season.

The Redskins should seriously think about giving Colt Brennan a shot. I wasn't a fan of his coming out of Hawaii, but Jason Campbell looks lost in this offense, and hasn't progressed as a quarterback in two years. Brennan at least had command of the offense in the preseason.

The time management with 5min left sucked. It's not like the QB was dry-heaving in the huddle or anything... HURRY-UP!!!

Madden switches so freely between insightful and moronic. He will point out the coverage on a blitz and what made it effective, then he will say how it's a new coaching staff and that they probably have not installed a 2min offense yet. What?!

Screw Colt Brennan, they should sign Matt Gutierrez. Now there was a QB who looked large and in charge against 3rd stringers.

Sorry, couldn't help myself. Did Colt Brennan ever run with the 1st team offense in the preseason?

Agree.(I think I always agree with you)

Campbell looks lost as hell and in preseason Colt looked comfortable.

Crappy game to open the season as a "showcase" event. Maybe by mid-season Zorn will have a revelation and install the no-huddle. The Redskins just weren't ready.
