Picture the chargers winning, they would of been the biggest fools u ever seen. I think all the pats players should of acted like they where shooting drugs instead of doing the lameass merriman dance, now that would of been entertainment.
As I was saying to a friend after the game the whole league is just pissed that the Patriots win and how they win. The Patriots win because the COACHES put the players in the best situation to win the game. Other players around the league think the game is all about them and don't realize that football is the greatest team game in sports. A team wins a football game and thats from the head coach to the 53rd guy on the roster. Few players understand this and they get very upset when they think they have all the "pro bowlers" and "better talent" and a team with "lesser players" beats them.
Ironic that I'm watching the highlights on ESPNNEWS with Eric Allen doing the commentary and he's saying after Merrimans HURRY of Brady in the first quarter "there's shawne doing his lights out dance". But he doesn't say its classless. HMMMMM....

I agree it can be difficult to control that many guys. But at least try to be objective and admit that when you win it's not classy to mock the other team in the middle of their field in front of their fans. I don't care what the other team has said or done. You rise above it and show you are better. You got the win, is it that hard to say that maybe that was wrong to do?
LT is not a sore loser. After the game he said "The better team won". That's a direct quote.
He was commenting on behavior that he felt was uncalled for, especially after the game like we just saw. I think any classy person's natural instinct after a war and a battle like that is to celebrate and be happy and then tip your hat to the other guys you just beat, not mock them, because they gave you a hell of a battle. However, you are also going to have a few classless people on any football team, Chargers and Pats included. That's where the head coach should step in and get his guys in line. I expect Bill will have a little talk with the offending player after this is over.
um because maybe we were classy? you dont know the full extent of the celebrations..
LT was obviously wrong in his statements, it's a shame he lost his class, he should have just cried instead, it would have been more manly.
That said, I don't like it when the Patriots mock the other team's celebrations. It bugged me in the last SuperBowl (eagle bird celebrations). It's the one thing the Patriots do that bugs me.
If you are a classy person ........you dont have to say it. He should have shook the Patriots hands, wish them well and left the field. I lost a lot of respect for the guy. He is starting to look like a big phoney.
