What offensive formation to start the Bills game?

I hear your 16.5 point favorites how do any of you feel about that?

We beat a couple of better teams by 24 each despite having some long, clock-eating, drives that could have served to keep the score down.

Each game had a single "fluke" TD (KR Game 1, INT returned by an LB Game 2). But the way the Pats' offense was going, they might well have scored on the drives they missed anyway.

So 17 isn't a crazy estimate.

They did look good Sunday but SD was really playing off the receivers. The 5-6 yard dinks were open by 10 yards every time.

I'm not sure that changing the defensive scheme would make things any better. Press the receivers and Moss, Stallworth, and Watson can all run right past the coverage.

As for Welker -- it's not easy to jam a slot receiver if his top skill is elusiveness.

If you're really just talking about tighter coverage and not jams -- well, I don't think the Bolts were TRYING to leave the Pats' receivers wide open ...

Isn't Moss prone to getting upset when constantly hit at the line?

Not this year ;)

Really, you have NO one that will be able to answer to him (that I can see). Moss has a big day early...... We begin to shut it down by the middle of the 3rd into the 4th. What we will soon come to call "Sammy Morris" time

I know your coach won't take us lightly so it will be an interesting game.
You guys deserve to be the big favorites hopefully we throw a good game at you.

Division game? I'd put my money on the Bills. The Browns beat one of the supposed AFC contenders last week, and the supposedly weak Titans gave the Colts a run for their money. Divisional games are usually close.

Patriots open up in a jumbo set and say "stop me if you can" to the Bills defensive line, then go play action.

Let's not crown the Browns just yet. We are talking about the Bungles D; at times, that D looks like they couldn't stop a dead cat from scoring a touchdown, let alone an actual NFL wide receiver. :D

I am thinking vanilla offense with a emphasis on the run.

This is the smartest thing I've read so far. We can beat the Bills without getting at all fancy or giving anything away. Let's just run Maroney and Morris and throw whenever we need to. Fact of the matter is, we haven't gotten all that fancy to this point, anyway. We've jumped out to big leads pretty early and been able to take it easy.
