Stink on ESPN keeps saying that Vicks body type is more running back because of his short stature. But I say its not the size of the dog in the fight but the size of the fight in the dog......right?......right?.....where'd everyone go?

Your here 'till Thursday, right?

Great post.:D

I will say this Michael Vick on Madden 2004 was the greatest Madden player of all time, hands down

You seem to make three points there...you only made one.

Yes he can be a kr/pr.

You don't sign someone to the regular squad so they can help out the practice squad.

And you absolutely don't sign a player to be used solely in blowouts. If the score is 41-3, you can put in KOC or even have Wilfork play QB, you don't waste a roster spot on a blowout specialist.

It's hard to decipher but are you saying we wouldn't hire someone just as a KR? Maybe not. BB may be looking for a versatile player who could also make a contribution in other aspects of the game...Like in practice where scout team players (who, since there are only 5 PSers, are made up mostly of regulars) are commonly cited by the team for their aid in preparation, or in blowout wins or losses where a experienced ball handler could be an invaluable offset. I guess you're sort of right, I made one point= Vick could be a multi-dimensional addition to the Patriots.

And, no, I haven't overlooked Edelman (I have been pointing out his possible value since he was drafted). But if you're going to go with a Wildcat QB in guy who can also perform multiple roles like KR, PR, emergency QB, then wouldn't you rather have the epitome of what a 'Wildcat' QB is expected to be (remember the best around against the Pats has been Ronnie Brown, and boy he can really throw...) over an unproven rookie? Yes.

As for the "thug" thing, well, I'm guessing when Bob Kraft said, "thug," he didn't mean guys who had been sternly punished and were looking for meaningful rehabilitation. Vick was a thug, two years ago...
