Let me preface by saying that I hope everybody performs well enough to deserve to make the 53.
That being said, the underdogs, or possible bubble guys, who I hope earn their keep are:
Mel Mitchell - I wanted Tank Williams signed, but at least Mel looks like a SS, unlike Guss Scott, Artrell Hawkins, Ray Ventrone, etc.
Willie Andrews - as a #5-6 CB and as PR/KR. Possibly undervalued before draft because he played safety.
Freddie Roach - The retention and development of young, physical ILBs is a need which cannot be overstated.
LeKevin Smith - only if he can play NT; Mike Wright - as a DE; Klecko - as an ILB only.
? ? - as the #5 WR; i.e., someone not currently on the TC roster. Preferably a big target. Childress as #6 WR and possible returner. The rest? PSers, at best.
Ross Tucker - smart, mean, versatile.
Wesley Britt - making "Let 'em in" Gorin obsolete.
