As we have done for the past couple of years, we should have one thread to post top 100+ player rankings so we don't get thread after thread.

So when you find one that is updated, please post it on this thread.

Here is the first from Draft Tek. This is a top 300 list and if you click on the lighter colored it gives profiles. As time goes on, I'm sure they will be adding more profiles than what they have now.

Bunting didn't break it down by 3-4 v. 4-3 for this listing, but promises to do so in the future.

There certainly could be others picked in the top 12, and we will have a lot more information before the draft, but there are a dozen names that "everyone" seems to be mentioned in the top tier. To me, only two are worth trying to move up to get, and they are likely to be way out of reach: Curry and Brown. I think the question of moving up would be to get our pick of the next eleven.

If we sit tight, we defintely would have one of these 23.

AS OF NOW - A DOZEN STUDS
    QB Stafford, Sanchez
    WR Crabtree, Jenkins
    OT Oher, Smith, Smith, Monroe
    DE Brown, Opokpo
    LB Curry
    DT Raji

    THE NEXT ELEVEN ???
    WR Maclin, Harvin
    RB Moreno, Wells
    LB Maualuga, Cushing, Laurinaitis
    CB Davis, Moore
    DE/LB Maybin
    DE Johnson

IF WE DON'T TRADE UP, WE COULD BE CHOOSING AMONG
LB Sintim (the last of the first round LB's?)
    TE Pettigrew
    OG/C Unger
    OG Robinson
    S Moore
    S Johnson

Actually, I am very comfortable with these six, and another one or two that might fall. I don't think that we would end up wanting the last linebacker. Whoever falls is likely to have issues that we don't know about, and is overvalued. Picking between a TE, OG and a S iis fine with me. All are strong needs for which there might be value at #23.

They're only high picks, imo, if teams don't cash in on QB's through trades/FA. And there are enough to go around. I'm betting only one of them goes in round one, at this point Sanchez because he's getting a lot press.
