Most of these type of discussions are entertaining but not that enlightening.
There is almost always a distinct lack of relativity - ie how does our depth compare to divisional/conference rivals?
You think many teams could afford to lose players of the caliber of Mayo and AD and not find their replacements a pretty severe downgrade?
The Steelrs may well have won the big prize last year, but their O-line is poor and so is its depth (little has been done to rectify this issue).
The Jets have very little depth or talent at WR.
What do the Bills have of note on the offensive line?
Its simply not possible to have top notch talent backed up by further high level talent across the board.
Thats why having a coach like Belichick allows us to scheme our way around these issues.
