It's easy, and only takes a few moments. You never know, by throwing yesterday's game to the woeful (12-straight road loss) Carolina Panthers yesterday, King Polian has accompished his ultimate goal this season, the "Tank for Luck" quest is complete. Yesterday's Colt rollover has guaranteed themselves the top pick.
With that said, Polian has to make this look good, so he may actually want the Colts to "try" in this game so that no one suspects that he was tanking on purpose.
Never bought into the concept of a "trap game", the Patriots tend to the level of competition and do what they need to do to win.
I suspect that the Indy game will be somewhatclose, but we will win.. and then next monday will hear the echoes of "yeah but" or "we should've lost".. but in reality nothing really matters except winnning..

Maybe I'm missing something here, but how have the Colts guaranteed the number one pick? With five games left, couldn't a team like the 2-9 Vikings lose out and with a little *luck* the Colts win 3?
