It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Regardless of the cash spending part, do they still not have to fit under the allotted salary cap? I can only find 2013 totals, and their cap number was $110.5 mil/$123 mil.
No one is turning on Brady. It's not like he had one bad game sandwiched in between a bunch of good/great ones, he's put together 4 below average/bad bad games now (not including last years AFCCG). No one is rooting for him to fail, it's just hard to say he isn't looking like he's declining at this point. It's amazing that any real patriot fan that has been watching this team fail to field a defense for 10 years that scared anyone can turn on Brady like this. It's not like he has Chicago's weaponry or Peyton's or even Cousins' in Washington and is stinking it up.
You all are mad that Brady can't destroy @ 37 with a garbage OLine, Edleman, a gimpy Gronk and Jags. While BB has tried year in and year out to fix the defense and still can't get off the field on 3rd down. Newsflash. The defense was this bad maybe worse the last 5 years or so. Nothing new here.
The last 2 Super Bowl runs we had, the defenses weren't great. Deus is 100% correct. It's not about Brady in a vacuum not about his Peyton comparison etc. The team's success was built on his back, now that he can't carry it the holes are being exposed. Simple.
As Belichick himself has made abundantly clear, the cap is easily manipulated.
They are turning on him by stating the obvious? He doesn't look how he looked a few years ago? I am not saying he sucks and from what I have seen no one other than the trolls are.
So the answer to my question of: "Regardless of the cash spending part, do they still not have to fit under the allotted salary cap?" is Yes?

You're talking out of your ass is what you're doing. And Tom did not win a SB with talent just as inferior. That's another load.
This times a million. Couldn't have said it any better, honestly.2013 - The best slot WR in football is allowed to walk instead of being retained. A 50 catch receiver is pressured to take a pay cut from a reasonable salary, and tells the team to go pound sand. A china doll is brought in to replace the slot guy, and a pair of rookies, one of whom is a UDFA, end up as the team's starting WRs for a portion of the season.
2014 - Along with strong arming the leader of the defense into a huge contract revision, and doing the same with the team's second best DT, the team trades away its best offensive lineman just a few days before the season starts rather than paying him his contractually agreed upon salary.
Yeah, Brady shouldn't have any take on that sort of crap, because screw him. He's just a cog.
And people wonder why I despise the insane homers more than the insane haters?
Nope, yes he did and nope in that order.
You're entitled to your opinion even if it's wrong.
The answer to your question is that the cap is easily manipulated and people fall for the myth. Again, go take a look at Miguel's discussion of it.

Who the **** is Brady supposed to throw to? Amendola is useless, LaFell even though he made some plays today doesn't get open consistently, Gronk is an absolute SHELL of himself.
Letting Welker go may have been the single biggest mistake of the BB era.
From what I have seen even when he has time or open guys he is still missing. The one play tonight when he had time and lobbed a bad incomplete pass, or last week with Gronk wide open on the drag route off the PA pass, or when he made a bad pass to Gronk in the end zone last week where he didn't lead him and Woodson almost had a pick (Gronk ended up dropping it or the deflection), or the over leading Amendola on the goal line. The problem is you aren't looking at the entire situation. What 37 year old QB could you insert to win in the circumstances. **** Oline, I guess that's somewhat important. **** receiving corps. **** defense. What are you expecting to happen?
You got so used to seeing a great offense compensate for an incomplete team its warping your perception a bit imo.
