At one time, Troy Vincent wanted to be head of the NFLPA. Siding with the NFL on a witch hunt against a member of the union burns that bridge forever.
Check out the Dunning-Kruger Effect.Just another example of what completely unexceptional human beings there are running the NFL. The moron collective put their heads together, and the lie they go with is the one that directly contradicts their prior express, clear statements.
You ever notice really dumb people invariably think you must be as dumb as they are?
That bridge was burned the day he lost his bid to be NFLPA President and went to work for the league..

The scumbag was trying to seize control of the NFLPA when Gene Upshaw was diagnosed with cancer, but still running the NFLPA. The players realized it and turned against him. So when he lost his bid for NFLPA president, he knew the handwritting was on the walls that he was going to be ousted from NFLPA management and went running to the League who was happy to give a position to a former NFLPA big wig to throw it in their face.
THIS is why I will never forgive Kraft!
There were also allegations that the scumbag took "for nflpa eyes only" files and gave them to the nfl and it was a major reason why he got the job.
That is exactly Goodell!!Check out the Dunning-Kruger Effect.

What total BS. So after this whole thing they are focusing solely on balls being carried from place to place. Really? That's the best they can come up with?
So the NFL is really going to gloss over that whole pesky PSI, Ideal Gas Law thing. Are truthers not going to be questioning why the NFL is not touching upon weather/PSI at all?
Statements like these which totally fly in the face of what the NFL said they were going to do earlier in the year has to make people question the NFL's motives, doesn't it? Doesn't it?
During halftime, each game ball for both teams will be inspected in the locker room by designated members of the officiating and security crews, and the PSI results will be measured and recorded.
So they just decided not to do this? Why? I can see them backtracking from this statement after learning about weather and PSI. They would have to know they would be walking into a situation where they would be getting results that vindicated the Pats.
“It wasn’t a research study. They simply were spot checks. There were no violations this year. We’re pleased that we haven’t had any violations and we continue the work, obviously, to consistently and importantly enforce the integrity of the game and the rules that are designed to protect it,” Goodell said.
Really? Why not tell us the results of the Seahawks-Vikings game? Can't some reporter straight up ask him "what were the psi numbers of the footballs at halftime of the Seahawks-Vikings game?" How will he dance around that question without drawing suspicion to the NFL's motives? I'd love/hate to hear him explain around how he won't/can't offer up those numbers.
It would probably go something like this:
Reporter-"Mr. Goodell, could you please present your findings of the PSI measured in the footballs at halftime of the Seahawks-Vikings game"
Goodell-"What we were doing wasn't a research study. It simply preventative measures."
Reporter-"Ok, but you released a statement that NFL officials would be checking the PSI on the balls at halftime and playing with backup balls in the second half. So what were the measurements at halftime?"
Goodell-"No follow up questions"
If questioned, the "no follow up questions" thing will prevent anyone from getting any sort of real answer out of him. It's infuriating.
There's a link to the cbs (?) article that explains the refs left balls AND GAUGES
