Woodhead fumbling on the return will there be consequences?
and Ocho wow I dont think he even played, even when Gronk went down I expected to see him out there.
Thoughts?
Ridley was a surprise - injury?
Woodhead - no apparent consequences as he took the very next kickoff out of the endzone and somewhat redeemed himself by bringing it back to the 40. That was an unbelievably bad break at the time, though. Luckily the D was able to hold Baltimore to a FG and only go up by 4.
Ocho out because of Dad I presume and he probably wasn't a big part of the game plan. Inexplicably, they seemed to miss him though as they used Edelman a lot, and then Slater on that ill-advised long bomb.
Woodhead's fumble? He better have fumblitis out of his system. If nothing else the Patriot running game does give up the ball.
Woodhead was protecting the ball and it was a good play by the defense. Ridley was out of control, ramming into three tacklers when he should have been covering up.
BJ is simply outstanding at ball security, most guys will fumble sometimes when the defense makes a great play. By the way, BJ was running great, they should have run him more, used more play action.
I have to disagree with that. Not sure how they could miss a guy that only plays 10 snaps a game max. Megatron would've struggled with that catch. Just a dumb play call and even worse decision by Brady.
Ridley is a rookie. Fumbles in back to back games of this magnitude will get you sat. We went with 3 RB in this game, and one of them (Faulk) never saw the field. But he was dressed because they trust him both on offense and ST, even if he isn't a playmaker any longer.
Ocho practiced all week and was gone less than 24 hours for the services for the father he was estranged from for most of his life. They only reconciled last summer in light of his diagnosis. They were never close. Still emotional I'm sure, but not devastating as was the case say with Favre. Ocho didn't dress because when the chips are down Bill plays the guys he trusts, particularly facing adversity, which was clearly always the potential in a matchup with the Ravens.
I double disagree with that - I believe that Megatron can catch almost anything
