why would Goodell reduce them after Kraft gave up fighting?
There is no means to reduce them he refused to appeal.
That makes no sense. There is nothing for Goodell to give, since Kraft agreed to accept the largest penalty in NFL history. What is going to do, mow Krafts lawn? When you lose on EVERY POINT when you ARE INNOCENT that is the definition of getting nothing back.An agreement between the two you say this I will do that

And don't pull the card that he brokered a deal for Brady, because Brady doesn't need it, or want it, and suggesting it says that Brady is a liar and cheater who needed this scumbag to pull strings to get him off.
Did you notice that Brady and the NFLPA ramped up their fight to have Goodell thrown out as arbitrator? Don't do that if the worst owner ever got him a deal.
Maybe you are right. I haven't seen any ramp up by the NFLPA since 1:30 PM yesterday did I miss it?
I don't know how I could not be right. Your idea says that Goodell bullied Kraft into accepting the full penalty and dropping his appeal and Goodell promised him to reduce the penalty. It makes no sense.
Yes, they again called for Goodell to sent this to an independent arbitrator yesterday afternoon.
I read what you are saying but I find it strange that Saturday night Kraft and Goodell are at a birthday party speak then Kraft hugs Goodell followed by onwers meeting starting Monday then on Tuesday at 1 PM Kraft folds. Kraft isn't getting something out of this? Why not wait until appeal day or day after?

Sunday night was the King interview where he was indignant.
What changed?
He went to SF and the other owners told him they expect his priority to be the league not the Patriots.
Its really simple.
The NFLs authority over the NFLPA and the conduct policy has been getting killed in court. If one of their own attacks Goodell, the chances of him losing power over the players increases, and the league suffers.
31 owners told Kraft he had a choice, side with the Elite or side with The Help.
Sorry, but you can make all the excuses you want but you're a fool for giving him more of your money.
He is counting on people just like you who will find any excuse to go to the games and give him more money.
Teach your son a greater lesson about "principles" and don't go to the games.......or...........go to the games and give more money to Spineless Bob and show Bob that he was right about people like you after all.
There's just 1 problem with your genius plan to make kraft poor..... Bob already has my money... We pay for season tickets in March. What exactly do you suggest me to do?
There are no refunds, and if I resell them on ticket exchange, he makes even more money.
I am going to the game that I have ALREADY PAID FOR and let my son enjoy celebrating the team and booing the owner that sold them out. Don't even dare attack me and the values I instill in him. You speak with no clue in your brain... You just have blind rage about what happened and in the process make an ass of yourself as you pass judgement on me. Back off.... I did nothing wrong.
But tell me one thing..., are you a season ticket holder? Are you suggesting that you would be willing to give up your season tickets that have been in your family for years... And therefore give up all future memories (remember Kraft will not be there forever).
I'm willing to bet that's a big fat NO. You have nothing to lose so you act high and mighty.
Tell me exactly what you are giving up to keep money away from kraft... What great sacrifice are you making?........ Exactly.
I have a 1 year old who will have no memory of this, but will enjoy going to games with his dad and brother someday.... And maybe his own kids someday when I pass them on to him. What lesson am I supposed to be teaching him?
Interesting read @SVN but it does seem like it's wishful thinking. Let's hope there may be some truth to it.
I did like that she paid attention to the language Kraft used, but that was something I noticed as well. I kept waiting for a punch line that didn't come. So, according to this article, the big surprise that Kraft has in store is that Brady is likely going to win in court and thus compromise Goodell's position? Can anyone help me out?
