From an interview on Sirius Radio, I copied this from another board, I didn't hear it myself. No link as it was a radio interview :

    Jason Brown, Ravens' Guard :

"Q: Did you feel like you (Ravens) had them (Patriots) vulnerable?

A: I'll tell you what....of course I'm still a young player, but in my three years in this league, I've never seen the intensity of what I saw that night. NEVER. I mean, I saw it in every single guy on their side of the ball, and if people want to truly know why they're so successful, you have to be out there and play against those guys."

I heard his interview today as well and he also went on to say that the Giants have very little chance to win unless Eli carrie the team on his back and has a perfect game AND the Patriots turn the ball over 3 times or more...

Imagine the intensity on Sunday given that the Patriots, to a man, are calling it the biggest game of their lives - without predictions, of course :D

Wow. That gave me goosebumps. Also, it's surprising that a 3rd year player is so much more mature than the rest of his whiny team.

Probably one of the reasons he is so good. I think Dr. Z (whose predictions suck, but who's a pretty good talent evaluator, at least of OL's) had him just behind Mankins as the best OG in the league.

I wish for the Giants' sake that they were smart enough to realize that saying something respectful and reverent like that after you get beat sounds so much wiser and makes a hell of a lot more sense than gloating about how they almost beat them. I don't expect them to say they think they can't win, but where is there self respect? It doesn't make you sound super cool by being thrilled with yourself that you almost got the job done in a situation where almost doesn't mean jack. If they would stop acting like desperate players who are almost satisfied with their last loss, then win or lose on Sunday, they could look alright.

This is great but...I can't take it anymore. This is the slowest moving week of all time. I can not read any more inane Superbowl stories (Logan Mankins has a huge beard he's been growing all season! Bill Belichick is boring, let me give you all his boring quotes in a list and mail in my column!)

Can't watch anymore Pats and Giant press conferences (I think I've memorized Tom Coughlin's answer to the question about his and Belichick's relationship...poor guy's been asked that about a million times), can't read any more NY newspapers (the Giants ALMOST beat the Pats at home!), can't listen to any more sports radio (game analysis reduced to who looks more relaxed this week), can't listen to any more non Patriot and non Giant player interviews (pressure Tom Brady! jam the receivers!), CANNOT.

I'm going to go crazy between now and Sunday night. I am hyped out. Bring on the f'n game already.

    No Jersey Selected

I was surprised by this quote. I was expecting a sour grapes comment, but gotta give the guy credit for the nice comment. There was much intensity that night, I was at that the game, as it was basically the ravens' super bowl. They were just super flat after that game.
