You believe that the money Moss makes could be used to make the overall team better and I'll have to disagree. An "expensive decoy" is in the probowl and put up the 5th best season of a WR, playing with a shaky OL and only competent receiver besides him was the slot in Welker. That does not sound like simply a "decoy".
To say "everyone is hurt" is just a slap in the face to people with more serious injuries. Moss' main ability is his speed, and with a bad back and knees, it's extremely difficult to do what makes him great. He's NOT a slot receiver, he's NOT a posession receiver, there's no "digging down deep".
To say he doesn't know how to win is laughable considering he was a few defensive misplays away from having the winning TD in the superbowl of a perfect season, while breaking records.
There is no "blueprint" either, unless by blueprint you mean knowing how to make this OL look like a bunch of fools. You can argue that the $9M on Moss is better spent on the middle of the road guys, fine but that would go for any other top receiver too. I can understand the argument that one top of the line guy isn't worth 2-3 good but not great guys. If it's the money being put into one player you want to argue then fine that at least has some validity. But to accuse Moss again of "quitting" or dogging it, or checking out is 100% ridiculous.
And stop absolving O'Brien and the offensive coaches, they failed miserably this week in preparation as well as play calling. Yea let's just keep rolling Brady out, that worked out so well... for the Ravens.
