He's an emergency option. He's at least 2-3 years away from contributing in the NFL because he was essentially a blocker in college. He has skills but he could be the rawest player in the league. Can we please put this subject to bed? He will not play unless Edelman AND Tate are hurt.
I would love to see him get some reps, but to activate him, you have to take a regular off the 45 man roster. So who should he replace? I don't really want to see him returning punts at this stage of the season, I would perfer someone with experience.I was just thinking about this because it is such a short week. Is it possible that Price is active this week to give Branch/Welker/Tate a bit more rest? I can see this happening, even if he's only being used to return punts.
You can't overlook anyone. The Lions, like the Browns, have lost most of their games by very slim margins. They aren't that bad, and we're on the road on a short week. Not exactly a week to "give the kid some reps."Well, maybe because he was a 3rd round draft pick and has the talent. We aren't playing the Jets on Thursday, we are playing the Lions and it could be a good opportunity for him to get some reps. Why are you so sure that he won't play?
I also find what you are saying humorous because Julian Edelman was primarily a QUARTERBACK in college and he was a 7th round pick. He got plenty of reps and was successful at WR. He was more of a project than Price is IMO. I know Welker missed a couple games but Edelman still got plenty of reps at WR and nobody knew for sure that he would be good.

Holy ****, when did I say this was an easy win? When did I say the browns game was an easy win? Ok, maybe I said it should have been a win, but any other game? Sure I predicted that the Patriots would kill the Colts but that prediction was mostly me just being optimistic (Which isn't appreciated on these boards). So care to explain how "I seem to be a person who disrespects a lot of teams". WTF?:explativeYou seem to be a person who disrespects a lot of teams saying pretty much these games are easy wins :nono:
Ask the Giants how easy the cowboys game was and the Saints how easy Cleveland was and both those games were at the favored teams stadium.
Don't take any team for granted.
If you haven't learned from the Browns game against the Pats you will never learn.
