Pats waive Ty Montgomery

Shame. I liked his versatility before coming here.

Oh thank Gawd lol. "But wait, he's bad at so many things..."

So now they don't have a third down back on the roster. Granted, they didn't really have a third down back on the roster before they cut Montgomery. But now they cannot pretend they do anymore.

I wondered why he was even on the roster. He hasn’t contributed all year.

Sounds more like roster / practice squad moves... NBD either way... Montgomery hasn't really planned out... didn't we bring up Kevin Harris yesterday? Maybe he has finally shown something...
He was cut to make room for Ellis, the former Eagles LB/ST they just signed.

He may get signed to the PS or maybe some other RB will get a chance to draw a NFL paycheck for a few weeks if Montgomery’smistakes are more than BB wants to keep around.

that is why that move was made, plus isn't harris still on the active roster ?
wonder what else move BB is making
Harris is on the PS as well.

Speaking of mistakes, it was Montgomery who was beaten on Barringer's punt that was blocked.

Good - take some action to at least pretend we still hold players accountable
