It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Seems like a good value for a player who has turned his career around and appears to have learned from his year away from the team. I give Chung credit he did some interviews when he was with the Eagles and hosts attempted to lead him into saying something negative about Belichick and he never did, he kept the door open for a return and it paid off for him. Players like Spikes, Welker, etc. could learn from that.
Neither of these signings will prevent them from their two big ones: Revis and McCourty
Revis and McCourty are kind of linked. Signing Revis and lowering his first year cap number to ~15M instead of 25M frees up 10M.
I'm not even sure we have enough cap room to franchise McCourty. A franchise tag would probably be around 8-9M, but I don't think the final figures will be available until they announce the official 2015 salary cap as its figure as a percentage of the cap.
Very happy.
Surprised Bolden got that much but happy to hang onto him. Love Chung deal if he can stay productive. Don't want TBC part II. Didnt get much money anyways but thats great value if he keeps up his play.
This bodes really well for McCourty staying put. Read what his TWIN BROTHER (it doesn't get any closer than that) is saying:

".....“But every year, a part of me simmers with envy. I remember 2012, when the Patriots won the AFC Championship. A bunch of our teammates from Rutgers went up there to cheer Devin on. … Right then, I saw what it looked to come within striking distance of the ultimate goal. Those smiles, that feeling — I wanted to experience that, too.......
..........A lot of people think athletes are only in it for the money, but when you play this sport, you play to win (Herm Edwards would agree),” Jason wrote. “Those who become truly successful, those who are remembered as great? They win. The ultimate prize, no doubt, is a Super Bowl ring.”

Wait! So if we win the SB then McCourty has reached his goal and leave for $?
RBs signed through 2015:
Blount
Gray
Bolden
White
Gaffney
Lewis
Anyone think we may stand pat and just roll with that group? Blount has a 4.6 career ypc 700 carries into his career. He's an above average starting RB who's success is very dependent on the OL. An improved OL could make Blount a 1200 yard type back.
Gray is a mystery, but seems to be an NFL caliber backup atleast. Bolden is a ST guy, can catch the ball, and is a RB4. The only player missing is the Faulk/Woodhead/Vereen. I guess the other 3 RBs + a UDFA could compete for that role.
I would sign Woodhead for cheap money and roll with:
Blount
Woodhead
Gray
Bolden
Gaffney/White/Lewis/UDFA
I've been going back and forth on a 2nd-3rd rd RB, but a 2nd-3rd rd OL will help Brady and Blount more.

I hope not. I'd like to see either Vereen or Ridley retained, preferably both. Though that might be a tad unrealistic.
