    All us Jet fans figure he is the missing piece and that the Jets have to sign him long term.

    Gap widens,;)

    #24 Jersey

    Sure does. The drop from Jones to Tomlinson will make the gap bigger in the Patriots' favor.

    #12 Jersey

    If LT goes to the Jets he will remind us of the Ronnie Lott and Art Monk years - Both were HOFers who went to the Jets in thier waning years and were pretty much irrelevant and both were rarily mentioned or remembered as playing in NY unless you are asked this in a trivia game.

    I love this. Now we'll get to see the Pats D hit mister "Classy" for two games next year.

    LT being the postseason turd he is, is hardly a widening gap in favor of the Jets.

    Loooool what a horrible signing if it goes through--great news for Pats fans! We are looking at the carcass of LT. They should have kept Thomas Jones.

    oh this is going to be a treat
    watching you NE fans laugh at LT all season as the jets probably miss the playoffs and NE likely gets back their #1 spot in the afc east

    it's a worse fit for LT than minn, but for the storyline of pats fans who already loathe him, seeing him join one of their hated rivals will at least provide me with alot of comic relief all season

    What? You don't get enough watching Charger games?

    Seriously, why would the Jets let Jones go and sign Tomlinson? It makes no sense at all.

    I can't wait until fans like this are kicking and screaming again by week 8. Ryan should be fired, waaah, waaah... This team is a pretender, sniffle, sniffle.

    =================================================

    Hey take off the blue glasses, LT scored 12 TDs last year in a pass heavy O and behind a horrible O line.

    Behind the Jets magnificent Five I would guess he would score an easy 20+ TDs.;)

    Disable Jersey

    Watch the money line. If LdT gets paid anything near to what Jones was due, I'll be shocked and the Jets locker room will be in revolt.
