When everything is going well, I guess it's fine to have Brady and the QB coach call the plays and be responsible for the offense. HOWEVER, top OC's are paid to do well in adverse circumstances, especially is taking advantage of the strengths of the individual offensive players and covering their weaknesses. Charlie Weiss had a quarterback that couldn't throw long. Josh had a quarter back with very limited experience and IMHO limited QB skills. These coordinators game-planned around the problems and made their quartebacks look good. The bottom line for me is that I think that Brady would be doing better with better coaching. He will get better, and perhaps will perform like an all-pro by playoff time, like Manning last year. That doesn't excuse the poor coaching now.
