I believe the Pats will lose all their high profile free agents.
Before BB and Scott Pioli emerge from their bunker, all the decent kickers and wide receivers will be long gone.
Look at the free agent kicker signings to date.
Wassamatter, bad hangover? :bricks:BradyisGod said:Boy this was an original thread.
Can we create a new board for this crap?
What a joke.

How many threads are based on regurgitated info/thoughts on a forum like this (and it's a good forum).

You seem to have no doubts whatsoever. Somehow BB/SP will waive their
magic wann and evrything will be OK.
Yes, they will probably get it done ... no reason to believe otherwise but from
where we sit as fans it is hard to see the plan.
So naturally if you are the type that just feels comfortable saying,
"I dont know how but I just trust in BB/SP ... they'll make magic happen",
then threads like this makes no sense and you just can not
"comprehend what goes on in people's minds".
Others wonder how it will work out? People are different.

That's true. Some people ARE different. Some people are reasonable and logical, as well as patient and mature, and understand that March isn't September, and also understand that the Patriots have one of the best FO's in the league, as demonstrated by their unprescedented success. Other people, however, clearly don't.JR4 said:To answer your question.

JR4 said:True, but it is an emotional expression of the uncertainty of the situation,
perhaps after thinking about it and not being able to see how it will
all work out.

JR4 - "Others wonder how it will work out? People are different." - the stuff of which message boards are made, obviously. A lot of interesting and sometimes thought-provoking different slants on things. Jimke's main thesis, however, was "It's All Just Slipping Away". That is just a little too pretentious to assume that it is valid to directly imply that Belichick and Pioli are failing this year. Jimke would have had a lot more credible post if he had acknowledged that Belichick and Pioli have succeeded in winning 3 superbowls with this approach - but wondered if it will work this year.Pats67 said:That's true. Whether you "see the plan" is irrelevent. It has nothing to do with anything. I don't "see the plan" either. I never have. You never have either, if you want to be honest. None of us have.
But after six years, I can be confident there IS a plan. And that plan, whatever it is, is more than likely one of the very best in the NFL. Don't you think? Hasn't that been proven to you yet?
I think its funny that you acknowledge that you have "no reason to believe otherwise" in the same post that you "wonder how it will all work out". Well, let me tell you how it will work out. They'll do business based on their model, and in September, they'll field one of the best teams in the National Football League. They'll have as good a chance as anyone to win the Super Bowl, and probably better than most. THAT'S how it will all work out. I'd suggest that as fans, we've got a far better deal here than just about anywhere. We don't have a right on earth to expect anything more.
Or maybe you'd prefer the mentality that predicts in March that a Vinatieri-less Patriots will lose the division to the Dolphins in a December game as a result of a Paul Edinger missed field goal. If you prefer that mentality, then fret away.

One can have faith in Patriots fornt office and indeed support BB 100%. But that faith needn't be totally blind nor does it mean we wont be looking at things from all angles on this board. :wha:
