interviews can come off different in person or transcribed so it's easy for us to come to different opinions based on that.

But the key new info in here to me on the situation is this.... he was AT THE STADIUM on Sunday as he says in own words that the position coach told him on Sun he wasn't playing. And at that point he decided NOT TO DRESS FOR THE SIDELINES AND HELP THE TEAM. Hell he could have tried to be another coach for those jr LBs or made sure the right guys got out on the switches. But no he went off to go sulk. can you say 'not a team player'.

sounds like BB made the right call to sit him - just based on that.

IMO this is the central point. He is sulking instead of manning up. Just like his threats about the 18 game season and his whining about Seymour, he is straight up playing the poor victim. If anybody seriously believes that BB has not been calling him into the office and riding his ass all year, they don't understand this team. He was benched. Mystery solved. Case closed.

People can talk about AD turning his season around but it don't mean a hill of beans if the $30 Million Dollar Man does not wish to turn his season around.

Good take ... I wonder how close Bill has come to outright cutting him?

Bill must have come to think that he's better off with him and has motivated him enough to make it worth the gamble. if the gamble fails, well he was going to cut him anyways so nothing ventured nothing gained.
