I'm serious. I didn't see the game so I wasn't able to observe but I kept on hearing about his noodle arm getting worse with age, just wanted to find out.

Thanks

Not to worry he is still great. You missed one of the Pats best games.

Some of his long throws werent great, as in "catchable, but the Receivers had to adjust". However it wasn't by much, there was one throw to edelman that he was off-balance and yet he was able to make a huge throw (shame it didn't translate to a reception)

Other than those, he was nearly perfect honestly, great poise, great decisions. He was even able to run well( ok, "well" may be too strong, but you get)

Hopefully he keeps it up like this

(Picking up on the OP sarcasm) he was obviously fine but even in this much better game it was still just a good game from Brady, he's had far more accurate games.

In all seriousness, no one that watches the games has ever questioned his arm strength, especially on seam routes and other routes in the short-intermediate middle of the field, which he is where he lived last night. His decline IMO, has been in two areas--movement and decision-making under pressure. That said, he's still eminently capable of shredding you if he has time.

Brady can bomb the ball just fine, but the receivers are still terrible at picking those throws up, adjusting to them never mind catching them. this team needs Dobson or even Tymes to stretch the field or Brady is going to continue to be frustrated long range.

I still don't buy into the accuracy questions, even though Brady does miss some throws. Every QB does. Doubly so when they have no legit targets downfield. Edelman has proven enough that long routes are outside his comfort zone. LaFell proved that in Carolina.

He looked great, his numbers would have been bigger if Edelman would have caught that deep balls

Arm strength isn't the issue. Lack of accuracy and poor decision making is. Brady played very well last night because he did not have to carry the offense with the running game going so well. Been saying for a loooong time that this offense needs to get away from being Brady-Centric. When they do they win. Brady was highly motivated by all the negative chatter and the bright lights of Sunday Night Football also motivated him. Let's see how he follows up in Buffalo.

If he gets reasonable protection from the OL and can step into his throws using his still excellent mechanics then he is highly accurate and throws lasers. When he has to improvise or under duress everything suffers.

Agree with Sticky Caulk.

1. His deep ball would look a lot better with deep ball WRs. Both balls were thrown really well, IMO. LaFell just quit on a perfectly thrown ball while Edelman slowed down on the one to him. You see deep threat WRs catching those balls all the time. Anyone who watched the Broncos yesterday could see D Thomas pushing off and practically knocking down Cromartie (legally) while adjusting the Manning's deep balls. That's what a deep threat does.

2. Brady had 2 or 3 inaccurate intermediate throws. In each instance, he was not set properly. Which shows he is still not entirely comfortable in the pocket. It's not his arm but his comfort in the pocket that is sometimes creating off throws.

Agree that Lafell totally quit on the one to him, but Edelman hardly slowed down on his. JE may have been too far to the right, but he did not slow down.

(unless we're thinking of different plays)

He slowed down when he looked up.

Every QB's accuracy and arm strength are better when he actually has time to have proper form and step into his throws.

Better than Peyton Manning's.

Bad image for me there. I'm sure that trainer at TEN could give more information on this, though.

Doug Kyed says Edelman could have done better on his route:

Edelman took a roundabout route to the deep pass and it still hit his hands. Would have been a big gain with a better play by JE.

Threw some lasers. The one to wright for the TD was a tight window with a lot of zip on it. Fine
