How nervous are you about the Bills game?

He's a homer. /ignore

The defense better come to play.
Yup!

For the past two seasons, the standard to which the New England Patriots offense has been held to on the PatsFans message board is perfection.

In the meantime, the New England Patriots defense gets a free pass.

Completely ridiculous!

As of this week, the New England Patriots offense is battered and bruised while not one key member of the New England Patriots defense is on the injury report.

We could be looking at a tossup between Connolly and McDonald/Cannon as to who plays LG/RG. Still absent Hernandez.
The New England Patriots offensive line should be fine if Donald Thomas does not see the field.

That just reinforces my point.

Stupid comment. The Bills won because the player you acknowledge, Brady, tied his career high in INTs. In the rematch, the Bills got blown off the field.

So, beyond one game where Brady gifted them the game, the Bills haven't beaten the Patriots since 2003.

We aren't talking about years past are we? I'm simply saying thatTHIS SEASON, the Bills have a better overall team than the Patriots. The Pats have a better QB and better pass catchers and that's it. The Bills are better everywhere else.

Also, in the second game, the patriots were getting blown off the field until Stevie Johnson was benched and the life was sucked out of the team

Nervous a ton, do we need to count the ways? Staring at 1-3 with a subpar performance, missing a key offensive weapon, on the road second week in a row, facing a defense that's given up 17 and 14 pts their last two games (including 14 against KC when Buf was already up 35-3), facing a defense that's forced five turnovers the last two games, facing an opponent that can put an early two full game margin between themselves and the Patriots with a win....
Does anyone truly have faith that if the Patriots are winning by less than 7 points and Buffalo gets the ball back inside four minutes that the Patriots can stop them? Fitzpatrick is a decent quarterback - better than Kevin Kolb, whom the Patriots couldn't beat AT HOME. The Patriots have faces one decent qb this season and what was the result? 28-39-382, 3 TD....There's no question that Fitzpatrick will have a big day against the Patriots defense. He's only been sacked ONCE all season and Buffalo's defense has 9 sacks to the Patriots 4. And once again, our Patriots are in the bottom third of the league in pass defense. It's a road game, a divisional game, and the Patriots are coming off a big loss to a big rival. They've pulled through in games like this before, so lets hope they can do it again.
I swear, more than half the times that other teams don't convert third downs against this Pats defense is because they screw up and not because of anything the Patriots defense did...

Mankins and Edelman are among the MIA again today. Although the Edelman absense probably helped settle the offense down in the second half. Until they spit the bit on that last just convert down because they can't run block consistently. Now it sounds like Mankins may not be available on Sunday. We could be looking at a tossup between Connolly and McDonald/Cannon as to who plays LG/RG. Still absent Hernandez.

The defense better come to play.

That's a funny one...

The loss on the flea flicker was a direct result of right guard Donald Thomas completely missing his blocking assignment. Due to an injury on the New England Patriots offense, a substandard backup was forced into action.

While I'm not thrilled with the offensive play calling at times, the tackling by the New England Patriots secondary has been just as atrocious during the last two weeks.

Mankins didnt practice today and will probably miss sunday's game. So we will see more Donald Thomas

Don't count Mankins out. He is a guy who may not practice all week and still be able to play on Sunday. I can't see him playing with the injuries he has had and not play with a hip injury.

NE has the best DT on the field, and NE is better at LB. If Spiller and Jackson get ruled out, NE will be better at RB. NE also is better at both K and P. So, your evaluation is way off.

Second, of course we're talking about years past. They help with the analysis of the present. The Patriots have beaten the Bills in every game since 2003, save one. That tells us that the Patriots have been better than the Bills for a long time, despite your talk here. As for those claims of health, please.... the Patriots are frequently at or near the top of the games missed category.

Also, in the second game, the patriots were getting blown off the field until Stevie Johnson was benched and the life was sucked out of the team

Johnson got yanked less than 10 minutes into the game, and the Bills added another 7 on the board after that before the Patriots even woke up. The Patriots came out flat and spotted the Bills 21 points. They then woke up and put 49 straight on the board. Blaming Johnson's benching for that is a joke.

Delusional. You can simply look at the gap between Brady and Fitz and conclude from that alone the Patriots have a better team.

Every week it's the same old story especially when the New England Patriots lose.

If the New England Patriots offense got another first down, if the New England Patriots offense scored another touchdown, if the New England Patriots offensive play calling were better.

NT? LBs? K?

That's..........not giving the defense a free pass. That's having higher expectations for the offense precisely because we know the defense has been lousy for a few years now.

I still have faith that this year's defense can be at least respectable, Ravens game notwithstanding.

The stats say that Kyle Williams will be the best DT on the field Sunday.

Donald Thomas sucked against the Arizona Cardinals.

Donald Thomas is also/was also supposed to be the 4th OG on the depth chart.

Name some teams with 4th OGs who are demonstrably better than Thomas?

If Mankins is out, it's pretty bad news for the Pats. The Bills will easily be able to get pressure w/ just the front, and Brady will be hurried all day.

It's also sounding more & more likely that both CJ & Fred play on Sunday. This is really the game that the Bills have been building the team for over the past 2 years or so; it should be competitive, unless Fitz gives it away w/ a few INT's.
