From my perspective, the worst trade in the NFL history was the Jon Hadl trade.

"So on the morning of Oct. 22, 1974, a desperate Devine placed that call to Los Angeles.

And then he mortgaged a franchise's future, paying the staggering price of two No. 1 draft choices, two No. 2 picks and a No. 3 to the Rams for John Hadl.

As great as Hadl had been, he was 34 years old. ..."

And in 1974 dog years, 34 would be about 42 today.

Ooooooooohhhhhhhh, that's nasty. That has to get the "other than Herschel Walker" prize.:bricks:

Unfortunately, according to the logic employed here in the case of Branch, you can't factor WHO Dallas selected with those draft picks in trading Walker away.

So with that in mind, maybe the Walker trade was actually a good trade! ;)

Not worst in the history.... not awful....

I said "HORRIBLE" and that is what it is.

You are correct sir, my apologies

To be completely accurate, the fact that Seatle gave up a 1st rounder instead of a 2nd makes it "the worst you have ever seen" and, as per the thread title among the list of "Horrible NFL Trades"

Rather have seen the dieon branch for darell jackson and first round pick

Lest not forget when Mike Ditka once a upon a time traded TWO entire drafts for that doped up guy who pulled a Katrina on Miami recently.:bricks:
