Sidney Rice agrees to terms with the Seahawks, per league source. One-year deal.
While I don't think any of the moves individually are that great, the fact that the Jets have now signed a talented running back, a good wide receiver, and a decent quarterback, makes them intriguing. They always have a fair to good defense, so it makes sense they're trying to load up the offense. Just a question of whether all the pieces will fit together the way they hope (my early guess is no, they won't).
CJ?KNot expecting much for C1K, but it is a low risk move for the Jets.

LT was done when he went to the Jets.We all thought LT was done when he went to the Jets. I think CJ is younger than LT was. The way Rex likes to pound it I would expect CJ to do better than the last few years but obviously would be tough for him to whiff 2k again.

1. The Seahawks currently have a streak of 45 consecutive games without losing by more than seven points, dating back to 2011. That ties the Packers (2009-11) for the longest such streak in NFL history.
cj is still a dangerous back. I personally thought he would of looked good in a Falcons jersey, especially when they wear the black with red helmets.
We must make sure to be disciplined on the edges because theres no doubt he will try to bounce it outside on a fair amount of his carries.
I see the Jets, Dolphins and Bills as plucky AFC East competitors who will be, more than anything, an annoyance to the Patriots. In terms of NFL rankings, they all look like middle of the road, swing a game either side of .500 teams. The Jets certainly didn't get worse, so I'd expect them to compete for a wildcard spot, along with possibly MIA as well.
Both were at 8-8 last year, so I'd expect that to be some kind of guesstimate for this season too. I do agree with others that their QB spot needs to be upgraded, but in the meantime their defense and running game may be enough to keep them in it.
