He did, and he was also certainly more than fair with Manning.Mike McCann had Brady's back.

Really fair to Manning. Frankly, he was pretty good. Pretty much just the facts as he knows them, and how the law applies.
McCann is a class act all the way, in my opinion. Absolute straight shooter. I've never seen anyone who's credible rip him. Of course, Shank has ripped him indirectly, but his opinion doesn't count. As in, he's not credible.Really fair to Manning. Frankly, he was pretty good. Pretty much just the facts as he knows them, and how the law applies.

I guess Peyton turned down the ESPN analyst gig.
Thread title should be altered lol... I'm so sorry I missed it. I will have to listen to the podcast or something later. Way to go Golic & Virk! Bringing in McCann is pretty sweet too. I actually respect those guys today...
I do think though, that "Mike & Mike" is one of the very few programs that has the pull in that network to go "off-script" from the corporate plan. I've seen them kind of go their own way against the grain a few times over the years. But still, this sounds like it was planned out.
Yeah, I feel like I just had a light bulb come on... Shaun King was just saying yesterday that he has discovered what the "deep & ugly" act by Peyton was in 2004 that his counsel forced to be redacted from the court documents, and that he believes he will be able to release it soon. If ESPN has suddenly done an about-face and is slamming Manning, my gut is telling me that they've learned this is the truth and that Manning is about to look even worse and they need to get on the right side of the story fast before it hits. They really dug into it. I'm a little suspicious. Stephen A was just on and added to the anti-manning angle. I think ESPN was given the heads up that something was coming.
