Not sure but it may be a generational thing......times have changed alot since quite a few of us were growing up......Sue the bastard ( especially if he's got $$$) is SOP today.....

When someone got "knocked up" in the 50's they went away for the duration to visit Aunt Emily in the country...now the kids pop kids out like pez dispensers with multiple fathers who are nowhere to be found for support....and the mom goes on welfare..the more kids, the more money she gets...it's a way of living for many families, passed down through mothers to daughters....

Julian is innocent until proven guilty...and in a "he said she said" situation I don't think much can be proven unless his fingerprints are dusted off the inside of her thighs...

I wouldn't recognize him either but who's to say she didn't, anyway the point of my post being, its sad that in the world we live in today that anyone would even have a doubt about someone else accusing somebody else of a crime.

If he is found guilty then he must live with the ramifications of his actions, but being accused of something cause you are somewhat famous(and he is) is just wrong.

Unfortunately, we are not all governed by our better angels. The Duke lacrosse case was a horrific example of this (certainly they were a bunch of boors, but the DA/police/witnesses didn't come off clean, either).

At least on the college level, the ones I have encountered are mostly spoiled bullies that have been pampered and priveledged since high school. A few are nice guys...most are ****s.

Hopefully it's not as bad on the pro level, but these guys get paid to smash into each other. They are mostly huge and they have pretty much have done whatever they want since they were kids.

Recall the story of Ted Washington dry humping the gay trainer on a regular basis. Who's gonna stop that guy?

Maybe you can build a roster full of Pollyannas. I highly doubt it. I have no delusions that there will always be turds on the roster. If this was Tom Brady, would you be having the same reaction?

Julian Eidleman may lose his job over this because he is marginal (in my opinion). They put up with much more from a Ben Rothlesburger because they need him.

I follow football for entertainment reasons. I have no delusions they are a bunch of sweethearts.

More than anything, I'm wondering wtf he was doing at a nightclub at 1:30am on a Monday night, most likely getting notably drunk. The rest is subjective stuff that may or may not be true, but that much is a fact, and doesn't really speak well to his judgment. For a guy who didn't play on Sunday, after a loss like that, you'd like to see him be a little more focused on laying low and putting himself in a position to succeed on the field. Oh well.
