With Edelman, it's unclear whether he can run anywhere near an effective draw, and I haven't seen enough to say he can pick up the blitz well either (for that matter, haven't seen that he CAN'T, there just isn't any evidence).
A third down back is valuable because of the deception in various situations. Edelman doesn't provide that really.
Edelman is so elusive, I bet you he could run a great draw.
Pffft, that's like saying hey this year maybe we'll try Troy Brown at CB lmaoooooo

Chris Johnson 5'11, 200 lbsThis is dumb. Why not suggest that Edelman play OLB? he'd be as likely to succeed as he would as a running abck.
But perhaps you guys just want Edelman out for the season.

BB already stated the new back they picked up (Moorehead) did it in NY and they plan to use him in that role..

Julian Edelman 6'0, 198 lbs
Jahvid Best 5'10, 199 lbs
He really isn't much difference in size than other finesse RBs in the NFL. I would rather him stick at WR where he has been excelling but what does any of this have to do with CB or OLB? That is ridiculous.
Its Woodmore, or is it Morewood, whatever, hes the guy, little fire plug, quick as a cat, hope he can pick up the blitz.

I agree. Edelman is in his 2nd year learning how to be a wide receiver.
There is no reason to now try to have him learn to be a running back, or a corner, or an OLB.
