It's easy, and only takes a few moments.I was praying for hip pointer .... phew.@RapSheet: Meanwhile, sounds like #Patriots dodged a bullet with DL Dominique Easley. He has a hip pointer, may just miss a week or two, I’m told.
I haven't watched the plays closely, but it's being widely claimed that Easley hurt it on the previous play but played one more before going out.As I understand it, a hip pointer is an impact injury to the iliac crest area. There was no impact on that area in the play Easley went out on. The injury must have happened earlier and that play agravated it.
Yeah, he was still good, but it does look like the hip slowed him down. He was on the pass to being even more disruptive off the edge were it not for the hip. He was still good and I loved when he was on the team. Among many good plays, one that sticks out for me in late in the 2007 Indy game. His forced fumble on Manning all but ended that game and preserved the undefeated season to that point. That's great news. I couldn't help but think of Rosie Colvin when they said it was a hip. So glad it's not like that.
