Decker, McDaniels & Patriots interest

Decker would be an upgrade over Amendola, 1 catch vs Seattle is better than 0 catches vs Denver

Decker is not a game changer by himself, he is a product of his environment in Denver, he gets open a lot because of the other players. Granted he takes advantage of it but he had 1 catch in the SB, he takes plays off and folks are right that he is not good against physical corners, and he rarely makes the difficult catch.

Even the sports media here in Denver don't want him back for good money, they think he is going to get 8-10 mil a year and they don't think he is worth it.

This is not the guy that's going to change the offense. Even here tonight in Denver they are talking less offensive weapons and more defensive weapons.

In the end the pats haven't won the SB since they had a great defense and that's not going to change just watch the rerun of this years SB, the 2007 SB and 2011

The top TE in the game, and two premium slot receivers can make up for fielding two WR2's. Address the DL, OL, secondary, and another TE in that order.

You don't draft 3 receivers and then go after a high priced FA WR or give up on them in year 2 after they have shown you some production! What they have done on the field is basically met first year expectations, or in other words, things are still going according to the plan that was in place when they were drafted.

On Patsfans you do. Like the Pats, Seattle, Denver and San Francisco should cut all of their 2013 draftees because none of them contributed much as rookies. In this world, there is no tolerence for young, inexperienced players who need to acclimate to the NFL game and who can't beat out experienced veterans. Just replace them with new draftees.

A soft receiver who doesn't show up in big games? Yeah, I think I'll pass.
