Some comments on the comments:
1. Any talk about getting rid of either of the OT's is past ludicrous. It really is. I don't understand why its is immediately perceived that anyone they would bring in would be BETTER than what we have. IIRC there are a couple of top FIVE draft picks who would LOVE to be having the year (albeit not a great one) Nate Solder is. having
2. Its also interesting that a lot of those nervous nellies who feel that way are the same people who wept when we took Jamie Collins instead of Corderelle Patterson.
3. That being said, while I think Wendell and Connolly are "adequate OG's" THAT is the area I would love to upgrade this off season. Ideally next year the 2 OG's would be filled by Flemming and our first round pick. If Flemming or Cannon aren't the guys to fill one of those roles, then I'd go to the well again and hope we hit oil again like we did with Stork in a later round.
4. I violently reject the notion we need a high round WR. Its been proven OVER and OVER again, that while nice and shiny, WR's do NOT provide the impact that many other positions do. Besides writing off Aaron Dobson would be a mistake. We have too many decent wide outs right now on the roster. Having the same guys on the roster for ONCE and working to develop them would greatly improve the production of the group as a whole. Its time to stop the WR revolving door. Say NO! to high end WR's
When are you going to get it. This offense does better when the ball is spread around, and often bogs down when one receiver becomes the focus.
5. After filling the OL needs, I'm good with going after the best DL or LB for added depth.
6. DB should probably be a low priority. Of course that would dramatically change if Revis and McCourty aren't signed
7. Interesting stat that should be noted and repeated in all threads. The garbage time TD that the Pats gave up to the Colts in week 11 was the last TD given up by this defense in the 2nd half. And except for the Jets, GB, Det., SD, and Miami, are all over .500 teams with excellent offenses. Just sayin'
