Count the Rings! If he is so good why didn't they let him kick the FG at the end of the half in the Super Bowl!!!!
No joke, I'd feel confident with Gost kicking a 60 yarder.
The clutch ability of Gost is an unknown since he has not kicked any game winning kicks in his three years. However, he has looked great this season and Adam's best days are behind him even though he plays most of his games in a dome.
The winning points came on a 31-yard field goal by Stephen Gostkowski with 1:10 left. That capped a 72-yard drive highlighted by a 49-yard pass to Caldwell, who left the Chargers as a free agent after last season.
At this moment, it's an easy choice. Gostkowski is emerging as one of the best young kickers in the game, while Adam's starting to look decidedly human at this stage in his career.
In addition to a perfect 10-for-10 on field goals, Gostkowski is the best KO man in the league so far this season, with a whopping 42.9% TB rate and an average return of just 21.0 yards.
