What does the Jets final regular season record know about the Pats defense though?
Oh you said 7 of 9, not 7 and 9.
The D is coming together. If this is a sign of things to come, then the D will be downright beastly down the stretch.

Good call, Brother Grid, both on the defense and on the pic
The biggest issue with the defense, the inconsistency, has been declining, with some more time and hopefully some better groceries, they'll be playoff ready.
The defense has certainly improved but it is not and will not be a Ravens type defense,at least this year.
The best realistic hope to me would be a mid pack defense (14th-18th) by January.
The Safety position is most impressive and Ihegdibo has played great lately.
We need more games like the Dallas game. It builds toughness and character (sorry to sound cliche).
Come playoff time when every game resembles the Dallas game, our young D will know how to handle it better than they have in recent years.

I have seen the improvement coupled with more creative Defensive play calling. This, along with the goal line and red area improvement, should prove interesting down the stretch.
BTW, how does she get into that outfit?
Haynesworth and Spikes have been the guys who have impressed me the most, as of late.
But overall, I agree. The defense played well today, and hopefully they can keep building and improving as the season progresses.
Touche, good sir.Indeed, Sir.
And I might add: It displays Toughness and Character.
