It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Same goes for Wilson who got called on to try and preserve a lead against a very fast veteran wideout.....anyone could see that was going to be a mismatch of extreme nature.
Wilson was certainly worth that high second round pick.
Really based on one play? Tough critic.
When your job is to play centerfield and not let someone blow by you like he did, YES. A high school safety could have done a better job.

Starting right cornerback Kyle Arrington was demoted after the second series, with rookie Alfonzo Dennard elevated into his role. Arrington played only seven snaps the rest of the game, all coming in the slot in sub.
Dennard was on the field for 17 of Seattles points. He is just as ineffective as any other DB on this team.
Arrington looked alot better than he was last year. Most of those INT's were tipped balls he got while trailing the guy he was covering.
Dennard and McCourty should be the CB's, playing whatever scheme they played in 2010 that made McCourty look like a superstar. Start Wilson at safety along with a Gregory/Chung rotation.
That's my $0.02, but I just coach kids flag football so I am not quite an NFL quality mind.

You know who was on the field for 24 of Seattle's points (or at least most plays on the scoring drives)? Vince Wilfork. He sucks, cut him...
When you don't understand his job, it is easy to overreact.
Compared to the rest of the secondary he was rather good. I think he allowed 2 receptions - 1 for 12 yards and the TD to Edwards.
Arrington,Chung,McCourty,Wilson all gave up bombs if i recall
The guy is a rookie. He looked good in the other games if I remember correctly. Give him a break.
He played deep, to keep everything in front of him.
His one and only job was to NOT allow someone to get behind him, which he allowed. On top of that, he allowed the winning catch in the endzone. The guy blew past him and wasn't even remotely contested.
What is the complication in that?
Because it is ignorant to say his one and only job was to not let anyone get behind him.
I know its nice to pretend he has no other responsibility than a bomb, but it is an obtuse view.
