Cleveland is cursed, he'll be injured soon
ya I want him to lose to. but if he does win at least its in a city that hasn't won anything in forever. Now, they will pick up Love, but i hope they lose.
As Kontra and I discussed up-thread, I don't see how this reflects well on Lebron. This is akin to some stereotypical teenage rom-com, where Lebron broke up with his girlfriend because she needed glasses, then changes his mind when she turns out hot. There's just something awkward about the whole thing.
While I'm sure it doesn't take anything away for Heat fans, I do think that in terms of his individual legacy, it diminishes what he just accomplished in the last four years. It trivializes what he personally did to make Miami a top team for four years. It cheapens it somehow. Like I said up-thread, I think this kills any Jordan comparisons (and makes Kobe or Duncan ones further out of reach).
Lebron is proving to be the ultimate front-runner. I find that disappointing, as his game is at a point now where he really doesn't need to be. He'll compete anywhere, and he should know that, and show some modicum of patience.
I hope he goes back to Cleveland ... just to expose the bandwagon Heat fans for what they are and
watch them squirm with hate after professing their undying devotion the last few years. Also ... what
a joke LeBron being coached by Euro super coach Blatt ... now that would be funny. Something tells
me if LeBron goes to Cleveland Blatt will be canned before he even starts. Maybe they can him and
hire Choad Van Gundy LOL.
@KontradictioN @BradyManny what else would you guys really expect out of LBJ? He was a front runner the moment he wouldn't gut it out in CLE and found the first door. But I also think you guys have it wrong, unless the Cavs get love, they wouldn't have been better than Miami's roster.
Kyrie isn't a winner and selfish. Wiggins is a bust in my mind. Varejao and Thompson is worse than what LBj had before in CLE.
Going to Cleveland, without Love, is a tougher challenge for him if you ask me. If he forces Wiggins out the door for Love, he's a ***** that needs too much help.
Just the story of him going home resonates with me. Like class move, Cleveland deserves it. I don't know why you guys are surprised he left. It's Lebron. He's not a true great like Bird, Magic, Jordon or any of those guys. He's a prima donna. At least he chose to go home over going to a REALLY easy situation in Houston

As for the Heat, I really have no clue why Bosh is getting the contract he's getting.
So now it appears that the deal is two years for 43 mil with an opt out after one year. Way to commit there, LeBron.
Plus, we get to go through this entire charade again in 1 or 2 years!
