I feel like a good friend died. There is an empty feeling. Such a man
with so much potential and it seems like his life is coming to a tragic
ending.
The life of the man that was murdered is over and so many
of his family are in mourning.
No one wins here and the only big question for me is
"Why did this happen?"

This is not family court, a dead body with bullet holes is considered real evidence and not circumstantial evidence.

Just watched him offloaded to Bristol County House of Corrections, complete with belly chains and ankle restraints.. just another statistic on a government chart...

Idiots outside chanting, "Free Aaron".. a half wit convention.

I feel the same way. When was the last time a Patriot had such a unique and well known TD celebration.

NEXT!

Who wants to be a fly on the wall at the next Patriots team meeting?

I'm sure you think you have a point here, but I was just trying to help you with defining circumstantial evidence by posting a link. Have a nice day.

Is there ANYthing we've heard which sounds at all suspicious on the part of the police?

To me, it sounds more like they've more than taken their time to build a case.

Imagine the next presser. Do you think anyone would be bold enough to go there?

If I had one question and the presser involved BB - I know what I would ask:

After what has transpired with Aaron Hernandez and his subsequent release, what will the organization have to do to come together as a team and focus on the same goals that it has had since winning its' first Super Bowl?

BB would appreciate a question like that.

"I don't know we'll see." ;)

My bad thanks for the link!

I did say i was reserving judgement until most of the facts had cleared up... all i can say is it's a big low for the pats as a team. I liked Hernandez so i am very disappointed (if true) but disappointed anyway that he would put himself in this position.

Some Hernandez quotes from last year and 2010

Aaron Hernandez's past troubles come into focus

The Patriots twice decided Hernandez was worth the risk, first when Bill Belichick drafted him in the fourth round and again last year when they offered Hernandez a long-term contract extension that would pay him $40 million through 2018.

Hernandez cried at a news conference announcing the deal and called that August day one of the best of his life. He gave $50,000 of his new paycheck to the Myra Kraft Foundation.

"You get changed by the Bill Belichick way; you get changed by the Patriot way," Hernandez said at that news conference.

2010 In relations to the smoking weed: "I regret what happened; I learned from it and will make better decisions going forward," Hernandez said in that 2010 statement.
Ugh it really sucks looking back at these quotes. It really sounded like he was a changed man.

I'll give you unique, but I'm betting that GRONK wins "well-known" by a landslide.

I want to think this is more than meets the eye.

Perhaps Lloyd was complicit in something unforgivable in the gang world.

Why do we all assume Lloyd was some saint? Either way Henandez is a scum bag and I'm inclined to agree he's the ringleader.

Imagine the next presser. Do you think anyone would be bold enough to go there?

Someone will try, and I can give you his response:

"I'm here to talk about people who are currently on the team. Next question."

I think what makes this so hard is that we're trying to reconcile two very different images of the same person:

This is the side of Aaron Hernandez we were familiar with before last week:

And this is what we have to reconcile it with:

The hard part is recognizing he really is both.

Why does it matter what Lloyd was?

Hernandez isn't judge jury and executioner.
