Surprised he didn't get the opportunity to turn himself in.

Exactly. No consideration... I expect the charges to be serious and maybe the murder charges.
Did the Patriots just release him??????
Now, this is explosive. Wondering if it's for obstruction or the big one.
I don't care what anyone says, the cops did it for the cameras.
Wow. Pats releasing Hernandez.
I should be upset, but this photo continues to crack me up:
Should be a "Caption This."
Hernandez resists being traded to the JETS
I fear Hernandez not only torpedoed our season, he ruined his career and life.
You're a mult-millionaire playing for a perpetually winning team. You are basically set for life as long as you don't screw yourself over.
Even if he's found innocent on all charges, the fact he even associates with losers like that is completely unacceptable. He should know better than that.
The New England Patriots issued the following statement: “A young man was murdered last week and we extend our sympathies to the family and friends who mourn his loss. Words cannot express the disappointment we feel knowing that one of our players was arrested as a result of this investigation. We realize that law enforcement investigations into this matter are ongoing. We support their efforts and respect the process. At this time, we believe this transaction is simply the right thing to do.”
