Aaron Dobson

I know you dont mean that but there is no chance Aaron Dobson plays CB for this team nor is there a chance he can play CB anywhere close to resembling Richard Sherman.
We humored Bequette in training camp with the whole tight end thing lol. This may be his last year w/ the team and I was thinking of ways to salvage him. Im obviously not too serious about this but would it shock anyone if he was better than lets say Fletcher? And Fletcher somehow stuck in the league for a few years. BB would be a genius if this worked and then id have some bragging rights lol.

I know you were kidding and thinking outside the box is never a bad thing.

Fletcher was awful. My god.

If BB was able to convert Dobson into a functional CB it would be the greatest reclamation project in NFL History.

Dobson is probably lafell replacment in year or two

What are the current options for dealing with Dobson? His contract lasts four years, correct? Any benefits to cutting him before the contract expires? The monetary gain must be minimal. Also, not much trade value. I hope that he somehow turns things around; I'm inexplicably high on this WR.

Injuries aside, I just can't for the life of me get why he hasn't even made a marginal impact...:(

Especially considering the promising numbers he put up as a rookie pressed into starters role . To think what could've been if the Pats traded down and then picked up Keenan Allen whom I was praying for, it was a rare opportunity to pick up a 1st rd talent in the 3rd due to work ethic concerns/weight issues IIRC.

I'm actually surprised they haven't dipped into the talent rich WR pools at least one more try over these past 2 draft classes, especially 2014. It just could added to already amazing draft-classes we've had as of late.

I'm not trying to do that smug 20/20 hindsight, just more so what could've been with say Keenan Allen as our Starter with LaFell. Then Edelman in the slot with Amendola switching in an out every other play doing the X-Factor to perfection with say a Martavius Bryant as our Deep Threat/Goal Line specialist....

With our TEs added in too, Jeez, who cares if there isn't enough targets to be had damn that would be a feast for Brady;)

Aaron Dobson? Didn't he play a few games for the New England Patriots?

I'm still rooting for the guy but he hasn't given me anything to defend my high hopes for him.

I am not high on him but we need him if someone gets hurt or forgets how to catch the ball.

People are so gaga over receivers. Dobson either starts playing somewhere, or he's cut as soon as we need a spot.

Or traded tomorrow to free Stork's spot.

the only thing that makes me feel a little bit better to be so high on him is that for him to still be on the team, BB and the pats must also think pretty highly of him

hopefully sooner than later he proves us all right...he is running out of time
