What three players are you most excited to see play in 2010? For me:

Julian Edelman-This guy shined last year as a rookie and showed that he has what it takes to be a great NFL WR. He should be a big part of our offense this year while Welker sits on the sidelines.

Rob Gronkowski- Our 2nd round pick in the 2010 draft and probably going to be the most productive tight end in our offense this year and hopefully for years to come. He is a tough guy and along with hernandez we have a solid young group of TEs

Tom Brady- This is his 2nd year coming off his injury and he should be fresh for the upcoming season. He had a fairly good year last year and threw 28 TDs and over 4,000 yards. This year he should break out again and prove that he is among the top QBs in the NFL.

    Apart from Brady:

Darius Butler - As he settles into the starting CB spot opposite Bodden, he will use his athleticism and quick burst to be the consistent playmaker that he showed flashes of during his rookie season. I think he has Pro Bowl potential.

Pat Chung - Assuming he takes over as the starting SS, we should see a lot more of Chung flying round like a missile hitting receivers like a sledghammer. Should be fun to watch.

Randy Moss - Still one of the most dangerous players in the game, especially when he's motivated in a contract year. He still has his speed so we will see plenty of bombs from Brady-to-Moss and see some more crazy catches. One of the most fun players to watch in the league.

    #24 Jersey

Brandon Spikes - If as advertised, Spikes fills a 5 year void in Ted Johnson's old role. I just get the feeling that he's more than that, and that Spikes will be an every down player and a top "system" ILB for years to come.

Aaron Hernandez - Pats fans have been teased at the Te position for too long. I think the Dallas Clark comparisons are a bit far fetched but maybe there's a basis to them...

Wes Welker - He's my favorite player to watch and I hope like hell to see him return to form.

#1 Sebastian Vollmer, i wanna see if he can live up to the hype and be the next great OT in the NFL

#2 Jermaine Cunningham, i don't know much about him but i would love to see him be that 3 down OLB that can stop the run and get to the QB something the pats have not had the last 3 years.

#3 Myron Pryor, i wanna see if he can be more then just a back up NT and DE i have high hopes for him and i think he will be the starting RDE.

i remember ther bring a poll on CBS in 1997 or 98 who is the best ILB in the NFL and ted johnson was #2 only to ray lewis,

if ted johnson did not miss 35 games in he's Career because of injury he's numbers would have been just as good as tedy bruschi's numbers so if spikes is as good as ted johnson, ill take it

That, mainly because I can't choose just 3! I'm excited to see all the rookies, I'm excited to see Taylor, I'm excited to see Moss this year, I guess I'm having a hard time separating each individual as I think (hope) the team is structured to play off eachother's strengths.

But ok:D I'll pick new guys as some of the vets are pretty much givens: Spikes, Gronk, and McCourty.

    McKenzie, Vollmer, Butler

McKenzie's a forgotten guy because he's not a rookie, yet he hasn't played a down yet. With an entire year to learn the system I think he'll be way ahead of this year's rookie draft class. I know everyone is excited about Spikes, and rightfully so, but I think McKenzie will be the biggest part of an improvement at ILB this year.

Vollmer and Butler because as second year players they are in a position to contribute much more than rookies. They will both man very important positions and I'm eager to see them elevate their play to the next level.

Tough to narrow it down to 3 this year.

I think Brady has to be atop the list. After 2008, I'm not going to take watching Brady play football for granted.

By the same logic, I'd probably throw Moss in there. We're watching two guys who are at the top 5 all-time at their positions. Pretty rare.

Aside from that I'm going to with Mayo, to hope we see more games like the 08 MNF vs. the Jets; Spikes, b/c he could be a beast; and Hernandez, b/c he could be the versatile weapon we need.

Tate is a close runner up. All offseason reports on him have been very positive.

    (1) Mcourty - On KO returns and as the # 2 CB. His play on defense is critical if NE is going to have success.

    (2) Mesko - Left footed Punter, so the ball spins opposite. Looking forward to few muffed punts and recoveries by NE. Not to mention his booming leg.

    (3) B Tate - Brady has said he likes what he sees in Tate. Id like to see what hes talking about.

Brady - Like everyone else has said, I'm excited to see what he can do now that he's two years removed from an ACL injury.

Mayo - We need him to be the playmaker he was drafted to be. Let's hope he can live up to all the hype that has been created not only by fans but by the Patriots organization itself.

Cunningham - This OLB spot is going to be very important for the future of the defense. I'm hoping that Cunningham can prove himself enough to get on the field on pass rushing downs, which should be fun to watch. He has the best first step on the team, just based on his college film.

Tate should be that deep threat 3rd WR that we haven't had since Stallworth, and we know how that offense was! ;)

I look forward to seeing Mayo make tons of big plays. He works too hard to not make it happen, and having a legitimate SILB next to him should help.

Chung is gonna help us forget about Harrison. He's gonna blow up run plays all over and send a few guys to the locker room when they're brave enough to catch the ball over the middle.
