Losing the way they did was a humungous let down. They were mashing the ball. Then somebody turned out the lights. And they could barely get a hit. Never mind score any runs. its hard to feel good about anything now. Maybe in a day or two ill feel differently.
From what I've seen of the MLB playoffs, Boston is the best team remaining. Atlanta and LA Dodgers don't impress me.
You angered the baseball gods. Once you do. There is no return.I take full responsibility for the Red Sox losing. Ever since I posted this, the Sox went downhill. They were up 2 games to 1 and were leading game 4...
Fun season. Nice run. Can’t lie and say the ending didn’t suck.
It wasn't meant to be but thank you Red Sox for a totally unexpected exciting season.
Pretty much agree with all of this. The Sox provided a ****-ton of entertainment this year, which is the first thing you're looking for. Always sucks to lose, but they outlasted the Yankees and had a good run. Not really heartbreaking--when you stop hitting you're not gonna win. Some bad choices on Cora's part, but he, and they, will be back.Losing the way they did was a humungous let down. They were mashing the ball. Then somebody turned out the lights.
