I was quite conservative and quite republican back in the 70's and 80's and many of my friends were similar to me. we all loved our blunt and we all loved the Gratefull Dead.

I don't really think the federal govt. is a good source for information on marijuana.

The British journal Lancet has some good studies on it.

There's not much new here today. Just cut a former pro-bowl OLB, the pro bowl DB is a few days of signing with the Saints and our fan-favorite lunchpale hardworking RB listens to Lil Kim (& smokes pot). Whatever.

when does the bad news and controversy end with this team? They remind me of the 76 Raiders( my favorite football team of all time up until the Pats of this decade). I hope we're not on the downslope of this "dynasty", it's been a helluva lot of fun.

I'm not reading through 27 pages, I'd guess that it turned into a pro-pot vs. anti-pot thread by the 5th or 6th page and I'm not really interesting in partaking in that discussion tonight, so sorry if this has been asked, but....

Is it normal outside of NH to get arrested at a concert for a little weed? I've never even heard of this. Every concert I've been to, people are smoking in clear view of security and no one says a damn thing. I've even had weed and paraphernalia taken away from me at concerts by security patting people down at the door. It's the same thing every time, "Throw it away or leave," says the security guard next to a huge trash can full of pipes/baggies. No hassle, no cops, no cuffs.

Why is it any different for Kevin?

So what? So is drilving two hundred miles an hour as long as you don't hit someone.

What matters is that it is agaisnt the law and against NFL rules and the victim is Faulk's career.

Because he is too stupid or too needful or too whatever made him risk a million dollars a year to smoke it.

That's the issue. If something can do that much damage to your pocketbook, why the need to do it? Why not wait until your NFL career is over.

Maybe it should be legal, maybe it shouldn't, but it ISN'T. So work within the framework of the rules of the world you live in.

Why in the world would the USA legalize something that makes people feel good ?

Whether it is for medicinal reasons or just to brighten up ones day in the privacy of their home, something that is relatively harmless should certainly be outlawed.

Makes sense to me.
