Would have been awesome if he came in on crutches. I would laugh so hard.

Yes, Dale--seeing our franchise QB on crutches would've been like a Chris Rock stand up routine.

Looks like it's sore to me. Looking at the step, for example.

I'm not trying to sound any a alarm, but having wrecked and worked through an ankle myself, that was not a healthy stride. Neither was the jog in the practice video.

Not saying it's the end of the world, but he isn't right on that leg. 2 weeks from now? Who knows. But he certainly did not look too "hurt," in the practice video. More of a jog to feel out the foot, which was ginger on the right.

You can't make much of the 4 steps to the podium, and not much more of the light jog in practice. The more telling aspect to me was the sway to his right when he reached the podium. That said, he has a week and a half to get healthy, and I'm sure he'll be fine on the 16th, hopefully Edelman and Vollmer are as well.

Couldn't agree more. He's tough as hell, so I expect him to be fine as long as the rest of the team comes to play. Even a healthy Brady may have too much of an obstacle to carry the entire team this particular year.

That said--you're totally right about the fact that he did not look "normal" during the light jog and even the walk to the podium. He's definitely favoring the right leg/foot. This is exactly how I was attempting to describe him in another thread when I stayed before/after to watch his foot in the 2010 Pittsburgh game. It was almost a sort of labored attempt at a trot. He also looked fine during game action and continued to play for another couple of months until the NYJ upset.

This sucks. We're screwed.

Now I have to buy an other super bowl hat? I hate giving money to the MFL.

Are you saying fresh ankle sprains are sore?

That WASN'T BRADY! It was his fashion double. Brady's in a hospital in Costa Rica having his ankle replaced! ;)

I was partial to Mary Ann but to each his own.

(Old guys will have to help out with this one. I'm clearly dating myself here.)

I most definitely agree, :)

I'm pretty sure Brady's ankle won't be the difference one way or the other for this game, but we should probably stop saying "2 weeks from now." Pats play next Saturday afternoon.

Biggest troll would've been him coming in on a wheelchair and going up a ramp to the podium...

This board would've exploded on fire.

That's called Roethlisbergering it.

...dressed like Guy Caballero.

why the hell is Brady doing a walk through in UGGS?

He's wearing highly specialized UGGS... you see... the inner lining is infused with essence of avocado ice cream, in order to expedite the covalescence of the ankle.

He looks really, really skinny there.

Now that everyone thinks that Manning taking HGH for a stronger arm and better nerves is less of a crime than deflating balls and not considered cheating, Brady should shoot his ankle up with as much HGH and 'roids as possible to play next week. He should make sure the package is delivered to Gisele's address in Brazil.

She probably gets some special herbs from the rain forest too.
