Looks like he is wearing a brace on the right leg

Didn't feel right to reference the MCI's instagram - - so here is Mike Reiss':

Looks kind of ginger but everyone is banged up this time of year

See, I think in his FU to the media tour Brady should use reverse psychology on every one. Which SB was it where he and the team were trying to hide that he was in a walking boot & they tracked him down (i.e. relentlessly papparazzi hunted him down) outside of Giselle's condo in Manhattan with the boot?

He should come out with a huge cast and on crutches & say he's "pretty sure" he'll be good to go two weeks from now but he's taking it day by day. Then have everyone freak out (including me, of course). Then come out & play the game of his life with no ill effects. Of course, he'll be accused of cheating if he does this, whereas they'd start casting Manning's Canton bust if it was him.

But... but... high ankle sprain....... Bert Breer told me......

Get ready. This board will break down this like the Zapruder Film.
I freely admit that I watched it about 4 times and didn't notice a damn thing.

He should have waltzed in wearing those Forrest Gump leg braces and had a cane like "House" . That would have been hysterical. The internet would have broke.

It's 2.5 days after getting any ankle sprain. That isn't a high ankle for sure. He's gonna be a little ginger. No walking boot, so what would people expect. Him to be skipping around at this point? For me, it's very reassuring that in 2 weeks he will be a-0k.

Channeling his inner 50 cent and not walking with a limp.

I think that's one of two times his pursuit of a personal life has hurt the team -- when he spent that time in a city where you walk a lot and he presumably didn't have access to the treatment sources he was used to.

It's very excusable -- he was wooing his future wife. Nobody (perhaps excepting military personnel and the like) is obligated to totally sacrifice their personal lives so as to be better at their job.

The other is even more excusable -- spending the offseason in LA to be with his son isn't as ideal as spending it nearer where most of his teammates live.

He's clearly still ginger on it. That's to be expected. He sprained his ankle a few days ago. The good news is no walking boot has been spotted yet. He needs to stay off of it and he should be good to go in a couple of weeks.

I understand what you are saying but I think you are reaching for something that isn't there.
