Crazy question but...

No one is saying he's a choir boy nor is anyone saying he is 100% innocent of any crime. All that I'm saying is that if he is found not guilty of the murder charges and does his probable time on the weapons charge then maybe he deserves a second chance. I know I've had more than one chance in my life and in a way I feel for the guy because even if he's innocent he's been labeled for life.

Look, I am not here to condemn anyone. I know life can be tough and that people get accused for things they did not do. And I feel bad for people who are put into bad situations unwillingly. Lets just say Aaron diddnt exactly seem to have a life where he went out of his way to avoid trouble.

"Crazy" isn't quite the word I'd use to describe this question...

Let's say the outcome of the Hernandez trial ends in a not guilty verdict should we try to re sign him? .

Congrats to the newbie who has done one of the best trolling jobs here lately.

Thread Ignore ON!!!

Thanks again for the feature, Ian!

Seriously though, signing Odin Lloyd would make more sense than signing Aaron Hernandez.

No team would ever try to brawl with us at the end of the game again if AH was here. Make it rain!!!!!!

BB likes to use "we against the world". If he somehow pulls this off, it will be "we against the ENTIRE world and our fans."

we could really use a slashing runner....hmmm...when is OJ scheduled for release?

Will wait to see what happens with his trials . Many innocent men have been found guilty and guilty innocent . He looked pretty calm in Court . I doubt Pats will ever want him .
Public opinion has convicted him . Gun and drug charges.... most of America would be in jail now .

Anyway more interested in signing Revis and Devon

OP is about to receive their VIP invitation to the ignored user list. It's pretty prestigious.

I think the thread topic answers itself.

It's silly that someone commented on this being a troll because I'm serious about this question. Hernandez was a highly productive TE that still possibly has elite skills. He hasn't been convicted but I admit it doesn't seem good that said the trial hasn't ended with a verdict yet. If he is found not guilty then in my eyes he's innocent because the law says so and innocent men if he's found not guilty deserve a second chance. Of course if he's found guilty then hopefully he never sees the outside world again and rots in prison for life. The door swings both ways.

I have a more sensible question: If you're walking down the sidewalk on one roller skate, carrying a canoe and a wheel falls off, then how many flapjacks would it take to roof a doghouse, true or false?

You forgot something... How long is the piece of string?

Let's say the outcome of the Hernandez trial ends in a not guilty verdict should we try to re sign him? He's still very young and has years of football left in him. We know the guy is extremely talented and was once considered part of the best TE duo in the league. He might learn not to be such a head case after this ordeal and settle down and let his playing do the talking. I see him as still being an elite TE if he is exonerated and IMO might be worthy of a second chance here.
Early Friday drinking start time???

Rae Carruth should be up for parole this century....could be the deep threat we lacked all year...

Nobody will want to take this question seriously but I don't mind taking a crack at it.

From everything I've read, the Aaron Hernandez case is largely built on circumstantial evidence, the minority of it being strong, the majority of it being weak. The prosecution has also, so far, done a really crappy job. It's possible the state won't have enough to convinct him of murder, but I only say that based on what few media reports I've read, and I know better than to take the media seriously about anything.

Whether it be Weapons of Mass Destruction, or Deflated Balls, the media is just always full of absolute **** in this country.

That said, it's pretty hard to say that Aaron Hernandez is a good person, no matter what the final verdict is regarding the murder of Odin Lloyd. Video tape apparently shows him going somewhere with 4 people, and returning with 3. The guy is just guilty. He might not have pulled the trigger, but he surely didn't just "lose someone." It's not like any 911 calls were made by Aaron Hernandez reporting that his friends just shot a guy. Something obviously went down.

That man is not a good person, and no matter what his lawyers get him off the hook for (if anything), his NFL career is absolutely over.

I digress, but it is amazing that he's been held this long without a trial.

I also thought the timing was strange. AH starts being a story on the sports sites as soon as NE is going to the Superbowl. Maybe defategate was a good distraction after all. Kept the media from just showing pictures of "former Patriot" AH.
