Vereen Breaks Wrist

Are we sure this is Vereen not Ridley? Broken bone in Ridley's wrist might explain the unforced fumbles.

Sorry, no excuse for Ridley. More like multiple broken fingers on both hands.

We're about to find out how far into the doghouse Ridley is. BB may be forced to go with Blount and Ridley since everyone else is on the trainer's table.

well, at least Sudfeld might be out too.

#Patriots banged up for #Jets: Shane Vereen broke a bone in his hand (per @JayGlazer), TE Zach Sudfeld's pulled hamstring puts him in doubt

Grrr.

The injury train is now in Foxboro. Next stop Pittsburgh.

He'll do what's best for the team. It's day to day. We'll know more tomorrow.

It is what it is.

Bill is a pragmatist, Ridley just went from the doghouse to the penthouse...

I was joking with my wife during the pregame that it's to the point where I'm assuming each handoff to Ridley is a fumble, and anything else is a plus.

:bricks:

I genuinely hope he has a come to Jesus moment and turns into BJGE as a Patriot. We really need it right now.

Depends what he has broken he may be out for very little time. Julian Edleman played in a cast previously.

I'd like to think that we're past the days when a white guy can't tell the difference between two black dudes.

We're going to need a better blocking TE. Hooman sucks ass and I cannot fathom why he's still around. Fells?

fells sucks ass too, probably the same ass as hoomanwhatever.

This is more proof that this version of the Pats is mentally tough in a way that previous ones have not been.

Glass or not, Amendola was a warrior yesterday. Now we find out Vereen is an absolute beast to have turned in that performance with that type of injury. Edelman stepping up to best of his ability and the team pulling out a win from the ashes with a final drive leading to a game winning kick by the Ghost.

I will take an ugly winning team that sounds like this ANY day.

GO PATS!

people are already counting out amendola for thursday? did i miss the news wwith the injury report?

Who is counting out Amendola where? I feel like I'm missing a post somewhere...

Vereen is obviously made out of glass.......kudos to him for playing with that shattered glass....err bone in his hand.

My respect level for Vereen just skyrocketed. What a performance with a broken bone.

Now, it's getting interesting. Vereen's out for an extended amount of time, Blount sucks, and Ridley can't hold onto the ball/is 1 dimensional.

Bolden, your chance is now. Prove what I saw in two TCs and the reg. season game vs. the Bills weren't flukes. :D

I agree about Bolden. Forget old man Washington and lead footed Blount. If he is healthy, give the rock to Bolden and see what he can do.

Any George Winn sightings? Forget Blount, the kid looked good.

"Absolute beast" ? We don't know the extent of the actual injury. It could actually be fairly minor, but something that they want to fix instead of allowing it to linger and possibly become a big problem.

Sigh... say hello to the first place Jets. :bricks:

Posters repeating posters becomes confirmation of sources.

Hopefully Washington can start to turn out a fraction of the production he managed last year in the return game. I'm not sure I can handle watching a freightliner return any more kicks.
